Jessica and Greg | Sangria and Gray Wedding in Georgia | 2012

I am so happy to welcome Jessica Neeley to Tiger Lily Invitations!  Jessica is a past bridal customer and I loved working with her to find the perfect wedding stationery for her big day.  When I saw her resume come through, I knew that she would be a great fit for Tiger Lily Invitations. Jessica assists with all types of projects and cutting, assembly and shipping of invitation orders. Since each item at Tiger Lily Invitations is handmade, she is a lifesaver.  She will also be updating the blog, so I thought what better way to kick that off than by featuring her own beautiful wedding.  Enjoy!

Rustic Wedding moss letters

Greg and I met in February 2010.  Five months later he moved to Indiana for a job.  After months and months of flying back and forth, he proposed and I said yes!

White lace dress and gray suit

I knew from the beginning that I wanted a wedding with a rustic flair – touches of burlap and wood bark here and there.  We found a beautiful wedding venue, The Grove’s Chantry in Maysville, GA, that was close to home.

Tiger Lily Invitations damask wedding invitation

My sister told me about Jessica and Tiger Lily Invitations.  I made an appointment and found the damask wedding invitations in sangria and gray.  They were perfect and quickly became one of my favorite parts of the wedding.

Tiger Lily Invitations unity candle wrap

Tiger Lily Invitations also created sangria and gray damask wedding programs and damask unity candle wrap to match my wedding invitations.  The sangria and gray unity candle wrap was a lifesaver after not being able to find a unity candle that I liked.

Short sangria bridesmaid dress and lace wedding dress

My bridesmaids are three of my closest friends.  Couldn’t have a special day without them!  They chose the style for these sangria bridesmaid dresses we found at David’s Bridal.  Don’t they have great taste?

Greg picked out the gray suits for the guys.  I thought he looked handsome in gray so I was very happy with his choice.

White wedding cake with swirl design on rustic tree standsTree slice cake stand

The wedding cake was another one of my favorite parts of the wedding.  It was a simple white buttercream wedding cake with a swirl design.  It was made by a local bakery, Just Desserts.  Everybody commented on how much they enjoyed it!

Tree slice cake stand nontraditional wedding cake

The cakes sat on tree slice cake stands made by my dad.  This made the wedding cake even more special knowing that my dad had a hand in it.  I thought the Willow Tree cake topper was sweet, plus it was a great keepsake that I have displayed at home.

Greg has been a Cubs fan since he was a little boy so he had to have a Chicago Cubs groom’s cake with a Cubs themed table.

Our friends and family made the day so special.  We have some truly great people in our lives and I’m so glad they got to be there for our wedding.

The day went by in a flash but it was one of the best days of my life. I am so grateful that I get to spend forever with my best friend!
