Daisies are in Bloom

Okay, so I have finally put together my first photo collage!! I was inspired by a beautiful invitation one of my customers ordered from the Birchcraft album. The one shown here is from Carlson Craft and it is hot off the press. I have been saving the photo of the cake from Martha Stewart Weddings for months, so the invitation just gave me a little more motivation to finish this. I designed the yellow and white programs for a customer last summer. Her colors were yellow and purple, but I think they would look very nice with grey or black also. I love the cute yellow bridesmaid dress from Dessy; it's not too formal and not too casual; just perfect for a summer outdoor wedding. The daisy monogram on the church door and the little yellow boutonniere add just a touch of whimsy. My mom should love this post; daisies are her favorite flower!

"Tis the season for wedding engagements!

Every year something magical happens between Christmas Eve and Valentine's Day for many lucky ladies. Yes, it's wedding engagement season once again! For new brides begining the search for invitations, 2010 trends range from colorful to traditional and today's brides are lucky because anything goes right now. As you are shopping for your invitations, no matter what your style don't forget, your invitation is the very first thing your guests will see regarding your wedding and it sets the tone for the entire event. I always remind my customers, this part of your wedding will be in hundreds of people's homes for six weeks, probably hanging right there on their refrigerators or bulletin boards for all to see - make sure it makes the statement you want it to! Below are some beautiful invitations that are sure to make a statement.  The first two are from Carlson Craft and the last one is from McPhersons.  All are available online or at The Basket Peddler.

Barnyard Birthday Invitation

This birthday invitation is perfect for a child's farm themed birthday party. It was created for a wonderful customer whose two year old daughter loves spending time with her grandfather on his farm. With the matching return address and thank moo notes it makes an adorable party paper ensemble.

This is one of my favorite Whitney English note cards that we sell at The Basket Peddler. Okay, who am I kidding, I love them all, but I couldn't resist buying some of these for myself and adding a pretty monogram!

Dynamic Dots Invitation and Envelope

This is one of my customers' favorite invitations. I love the Dynamic Dot invitation because it is versatile, the colors can be quickly changed and it fits many different party themes - from baby shower to birthday. I have even added a honey pot and bees for a pooh themed baby shower. As with all my custom invitations, I have a matching envelope return address design too.
Invitations with unprinted white or ecru envelopes are only 68 cents a piece plus a $5 set up fee. To add matching return address it is 30 cents a piece and $5 set up fee.
